Visit before the crowds of Summer!

Visit our charming village before the busy summer season hits! Early spring is one of the best times to come to Capitola Village. The weather is beautiful, there’s plenty to do, and there are fewer people, which means less competition for  your favorite spot on the sand, and  you can head to an oceanside restaurant without having to worry about a wait.

Capitola Museum

The museum is now open Thursday  through Sunday, noon to 4pm with a new exhibition titled, "Capitola FAQ."  The exhibition explores some of the frequently asked questions about Capitola history.  Is the railroad trestle still used?  What happened to the theater?  What are the plans for the Rispin Mansion?  Where was the airport?  A reception for the new exhibition will be held at noon, Saturday, March 17, and the exhibition will run through the end of the year.
