Capitola Village WineThere are a number of Capitola bars that feature amazing local and international wines for all tastes. Start with the Armida Wine tasting room. The cozy, intimate tasting room is located next to the water so you can enjoy beautiful ocean views while you sip. Armida sources the finest grapes from many of the most coveted vineyards and dedicated growers. Their small lot vineyard in Healdsburg features Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Try their Poizin, a “zinfandel you’ll never forget.” Their Capitola wine tasting room is open 11-6 on Sundays, 11-7 on Friday & Saturday, and 12-6 Monday to Thursday. Enjoy a carefully curated wine selection, as well as great food, entertainment and a fun, laid back atmosphere. Cork and Fork is all about wine, owner Cathy’s love of wine is contagious and whether you’re a novice and know nothing about wine or you’re a winemaker, she will always welcome a chat about wine. Sit next to the fire on the outdoor patio and enjoy live music almost every night of the week while you sip wines from a long list of wineries from all over California. Located on San Jose Ave, right around the corner from Capitola Beach, this wine bar is unique in that not only does it offer great local and international wine, it also serves beer and food in a relaxed environment. Plus, you can bring your own records and play them on the bar’s record player! Capitola Wine Bar and Merchants also has a fantastic lineup of local musicians regularly.
