From families with kids on Winter Break to couples, friends and co-workers, everyone can enjoy ice skating with the beautiful Monterey Bay as the backdrop. Twinkling lights, decorated storefront widows, and Christmas trees sprinkled throughout the Village will transform our beach town into a magical winter wonderland!

SKATING SESSIONS AND HOURS “iSKATE Capitola" will run three skating sessions per day Monday through Sunday. Skating sessions last 2 hours:

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

ADMISSION General Admission Including Skate Rental – $15

General Admission Bring Your Own Ice Skates – $10

TICKETS Purchase online tickets now through Square Register. Online ticket sales are limited, but same-day tickets are available at the ice rink ticket booth beginning at 9:45 a.m. Tickets sell fast, so we recommend you arrive early or click here to purchase online.

RENTALS Rent skates for $5. Skate sizes range from youth size 8 to adult size 13. You may also bring your own ice skates.

BATHROOMS Bathrooms are located in Esplanade Park adjacent to the rink. Since skates may not be worn outside of the ice rink, we recommend you use the facilities before skating.

RAIN POLICY We remain open in light to moderate rain but may close in heavy and sustained rain at the discretion of Ice Rink management. No refunds or rain checks will be issued for tickets purchased at the door, but rain checks will be honored for tickets purchased online in advance.

ABOUT OUR RINK
iSKATE Capitola is an eco-friendly, synthetic ice pop-up rink, designed to give the same feeling as skating on real ice without the water waste and energy costs of conventional ice rinks. It is constructed of a unique plastic polymer that is treated with a water based food grade propylene glycol which is used in dozens of food products. It is completely harmless to people and the environment!
